Eating Strawberries
Nowadays, there are various products to choose from that has the strawberry flavor and scent such as teas, spreads, cake frostings, milk, yogurt, and even medicines. Even non-food items like scented stationeries and pens, shampoos, lotions, and colognes carry the strawberry aroma. Strawberries are full of vitamin C, potassium, sodium and iron at the same time as getting low in calories. Not just delicious, a strawberry is also a great skincare additive, especially due to its mildly astringent properties. Strawberry flesh and juice is suggested primarily for oily skin to enhance texture, reduce greasiness and encourage a healthy and far more radiant complexion. To choose fresh ones, watch for bright, deep red fruits with glossy surfaces, without green or white hard tips. The caps and leaves should be fresh green. If you like sweet strawberries go for the bright red, smaller ones. Large ones can be watery. As strawberries do not ripen after they had been harvested, check to make sure the berries at the lower rows of the box are equally ripe as the ones on the top row. If there are red stains or liquid leaking from the box bottom, it means the berries had been on the shelf for too long and thus, not worth your money. Because of the pleasant taste of the strawberry fruit, some food and beverage products adapt its flavor.
