Wearing Pearls

Pearls can be found in many shapes, sizes and types, but all of them carry the same significance of purity and innocence. Both Freshwater and Saltwater pearls can be found in white. If your pearls are worn frequently, you should have them restrung annually. They should be restrung with silk thread and knotted in between each pearl to prevent them from rubbing against each other and possibly scattering, if the thread should break. From a live oyster a little sac of mantle is cut and an object is inserted into the mantle. This is subsequently put into the mantle of a matured oyster. After several years the inserted object is coated with the layers of pearl nacre similar to a natural pearl. Today, there are other techniques to manufacture cultured pearls. From pearl jewelries like from rings to the necklace and bracelets it is available in the market. Pearl bracelets also come in various exciting colors. Although white is very classic and traditional but pearl bracelet made with other attractive colors such as cream, silver ivory, pink, peach, lavender or black look very trendy and beautiful. Pearls typically have overtones, which are apparent when light reflects off the pearl surface. A pearl bracelet could appear to be white, but may give off a pinkish sheen when raised against the light. Similar articles can be seen at Fine Pearls , as seen on tv.
