Food began as a necessity of life. It is the source of our energy which allows our body to grow and prosper. For healthy living you need to make sure to eat healthy foods to gather and to survive. In this modern world, the role of the food in everyday life has taken on a life of its own. The foods we take everyday are as diverse as the different foods it encompasses and as inseparable from a person’s daily life. Eating good food is one of the essential building blocks to living a healthy lifestyle. The abundance of food choices and options can be overwhelming. Understanding the types of foods that are good for you makes choosing which foods to eat easier. Then, by following the basic building blocks of a healthy diet, rooted in a good food choice, you can take your first step towards total health. Choosing and tracking you food everyday is the best way to do for your eating pattern. Make notes regarding extenuating circumstances such as eating during breakfast or lunch breaks. Some of us while driving or even riding in a cab or any transportation loves to eat so that we will not be bored. But make sure to highlight the foods you tend to eat most often in one color and highlights. Keeping a food journal as it is a proven method of creating and sustaining a healthier lifestyle.
